From pearls and ivory to rare books and spices, Merchants see--and buy--it all.
Buying is the first step to Merchant trading. It can be done in just about any City or Village, although locations close together tend to have some of the same items for the same price.
To buy, send your merchant to any City. Once he/she reaches a city, click on the "Market" button to go to the market. Next, click on the item you wish to buy, enter the quantity you wish to buy in the box below or press the plus sign to buy the maximum. Now click "Buy" and the items will be added to your merchant's backpack. You can now go out and sell the items for profit!
How to Buy Products[]
Merchants buy products at Villages; different villages have different products as displayed on the World Map.
1. After Dispatching your Merchant from a Trade Center, the first step to buying products is locating the Merchant. Click on the "Merchant" tab of the Hero interface on the right side of the World Map.
2. Click on the Merchant you want to find.
3. Select "Locate Merchant."
4. The system will bring you to the merchant's location. If she is in a Village or City, you will see a balance icon next to the target location. Click the Village or City.
5. In the Village or Metropolis Market interface, input the number of Items you wish to purchase and click "Buy" to finalize the transaction. Once you are done purchasing Items, click "Dispatch" to send the Merchant to the next location on her trade route.
6. Select a Village or Metropolis next to your current location (higher-level Merchants can select more distant targets) and click on the "Dispatch" button to continue your journey.
Next destination---a Metropolis where you can sell the Items you just bought!
