Geography

From mountains and swamps to fields and sea, the world of Imperial Warfare encompasses all types of landscape.

Besides modular places like Cities, Camps, Lairs, Villages, Metropolis, and Collection Points, Imperial Warfare also boasts a rich collection of landscape types, from stormy seas to high and forbidding mountains, each of which carries its own description:

  • Steppe 1: The steppe graces the furthest reaches of the eye with wide, cool skies and a variety of scrubby plants.
  • Steppe 2: A vast, luxuriant grassland where nothing meets the eye except the fine line between the open prairie and empyrean heavens.
  • Sea: Vast and mysterious, the dark, cool waters of the sea hide many a fell and hungry beast.
  • Desert: Seemingly desolate and barren, the desert actually houses a teeming ecosystem of hardy flora and resilient fauna.
  • Marshland: All kinds of fatal dangers are lurking in these marshes.
  • Volcano: Dark, sooty, and dangerous landscape; not recommended for casual travelers or the light of heart.
  • Desert: Seemingly desolate and barren, the desert actually houses a teeming ecosystem of hardy flora and resilient fauna.
  • Forest: A dark, dense forest inhabited by hordes of fell beasts and clever spirits.
  • Jokul: High above the sea level, this mountainous area is almost completely blanketed by snow.

Try to find each of these landscape types yourself on the World Map---it's more difficult than you might think.
